A/Prof.Dr.Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University, congratulated Prof. Lee Nam-ho, President of Chonbuk National University on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Chonbuk National University.

At Chonbuk National University, A/Prof.Dr.Nguyen Quang Linh had a meeting with Prof.Lee Nam-ho and congratulated the 70th anniversary of CBNU with great achievements. Established in 1946 with 2700 students, 5 colleges with 16 faculties, CBNU has grown up with 14 universities offering undergraduate, graduate and multi-disciplinary training.

In 2008, Hue University and CBNU signed the first cooperation agreement. After that, the affiliate universities of Hue University and CBNU had cooperation in student exchange and some other academic activities. Especially, University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HU-UoMP), Hue University and CBNU has 12 years of cooperation in the field of dentistry, which was started by Prof.Shin-Keun, Honorary Professor of Hue University. CBNU and KOICA also supported the HU-UoMP to set up the Center for Speech Therapy and to provide training in Speech Therapy for HU's doctors who will cure children with cleft lip and cleft palate before and after surgery. In March 2015, HU and CBNU renewed the Memorandum of Understanding, marking a new development of cooperation of the two universities.

At the meeting, the two Presidents highly appreciated the cooperation efforts of the two sides and affirmed to strengthen the relationship with specific cooperation activities in the coming time.
