Training Workshop : TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER IN VIETNAM - THE SITUATION AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FUTURE (10-04-2018 08:27)

 

Within the framework of the VETEC (Vietnam -European Knowledge and Technology Transfer Education Consortium) project, Hue University will organize a training workshop on the topic " Technology transfer in Vietnam - the situation and looking forward to the future". The workshop aims to raise the awareness and enhance practical capacity of technology transfer for scientists, science - technology managers and staff of the project partner universities, provincial science- technology departments and local enterprises.

 

Time: May 28 to June 8, 2018 (2 weeks)

 

Venue: Hue University, 04 Le Loi, Hue City.

 

Participants:

·        Representatives of Ministry of Science and Technology, Departments of Science and Technology of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue...

·        Leaders, scientists, science and technology managers/ staff of the project partner universities (Hanoi University of Technology, Can Tho University, Hue University, Brussel Liberal University (Belgium), Aveiro University (Portugal); Dresden University of Technology (Germany).

·        Representatives of some enterprises involved in technology transfer.

 

Workshop program

- Week one (28/05/2018 - 01/6/2018) - Introduction and visit to the technology transfer models in Vietnam

+ Introduction of laws relating to technology transfer in Vietnam

+ Overview of technology transfer, startup in Vietnam; and more particularly, at Hue University

+ Visit to the models of technology transfer in Thua Thien Hue, and at Hue University

(Presenters from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hue University, other universities in Vietnam)

 

- Second week (04/06/2018 – 08/06/2018) - Enhancement of KTT (Knowledge and Technology Transfer) and University - Industry linkage for the suitable development in VN

+ Introduction to industrial ecology system

+ Innovation and industrial cycle

+ University spin-off model: how to shorten the gap between creativity and commercialization

+ Experiences in building a strategy for starting a business, transferring technology in European universities.

+ Group Discussion

(Presenters, lecturers from European and Vietnamese Universities)
