Prior to this, on April 24, 2018, the President of Hue University signed the decision to appoint Assoc.Prof.Dr.Tran Thanh Duc, Deputy Head of Office for Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Assoc.Prof.Dr.Le Dinh Phung, Head of Genetics - Livestock breeding, Faculty of Animal Science - Veterinary Medicine, to hold the position of vice rectors of the university.

University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University also announced the appointment decision for 02 new professors and 14 new associate professors, who had just been recognized by the State Council for Professor Title of Vietnam in 2017.

Speaking at the Appointment Ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Le Van An, Rector of the University of Agriculture and Forestry expressed his trusts towards the two new vice-rectors and urged them to bring into full play their capacities and experience and and congratulations to the newly appointed professors, associate professors. He also informed that 2018 is the year in which the number of staff of HU-UoAF recognized to be professors and associate professors is the highest compared to previous years. The total number of current professors and associate professors is 50. This is a recognition from the state for lecturers of HU-UoAF who have made great efforts in training, scientific research.
