The conference received 150 full-text papers from researchers, faculty and PhD students from over 40 universities, colleges and research institutes nationwide and internationally. The conference took place in 2 days (October 25th and 26th), 2 papers were chosen for plenary session and 110 papers for 10 parallel sessions, in which 4 sessions were presented in English and 6 sessions were presented in Vietnamese. The reports at the conference were all interdisciplinary, multi-disciplinary such as application of information technology in teaching translation, interpretation and language skills; study of proverbs, idioms, cultures and application in teaching; language study from a cultural, intercultural perspective and application in teaching, etc. The conference was an opportunity for academic exchange and presenting research results in language, culture of communication and language research applications, culture in language teaching and connecting domestic and abroad interdisciplinary research groups.
