In the trip to attend the 60th anniversary ceremony of Hue University, the Ambassador of Australia and the Ambassador of Belgium to Vietnam visit and try the dishes at the cooking contest.

The purpose of the contest was for HU staff, not only women but also men to prove their cooking talent. The contest aims to convey the messages: family meal is very important and meaningful, brings health, happiness and facilitates responsibility sharing of family members, helps building a family "Properity, Equality, Progress, Happiness".

 The contest organizing board evaluated, scored and offered awards to the following teams:

- First prize: Education Union of the Center for Defense Education

- Second Prize: Education Union of Hue University's administration departments and of Center for Continuing Education.

- Third prize: Education Union of College of Medicine and Pharmacy, College of Science and Institute of Natural Resources and Environment.

- The remaining 14 teams were awarded encouragement prizes

- Two team prizes were awarded to Hue University's administration departments and College of Education.

The contest has created a cheerful atmosphere among officers, employees of the HU colleges and affiliated units in the joy of celebrating 60 years of building and developing Hue University (1957-2017) and the International Women's Day on 8/3/2017.
