On January 7, 2025, the final conference was held at Hue University to promote the results of the CCP-LAW project, which is part of the ERASMUS+ program funded by the European Union. The event was coordinated by Hue University and involved 10 partners from universities and higher education institutions in Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Greece, the UK, and Spain. The CCP-Law Project, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program, aims to enhance the capacity of higher education institutions. The project is coordinated by Hue University and authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training. Project partners include: Hue University (Vietnam), Hanoi Law University (Vietnam), Symbiosis International University (India), Marwadi University (India), Universiti Utara Malaysia (Malaysia), International Islamic University Malaysia (Malaysia), Coventry University (UK), European Knowledge Spot Organization (Greece), University of Girona (Spain) and the Panhellenic Association of Civil Engineers and Contractors (Greece).
The goal of the CCP-LAW project is to develop, test, and adjust the Master’s program in climate change policy and law based on a blended learning approach, using flexible and diverse learning tools. The postgraduate training programs will contribute to modernizing, increasing accessibility, and internationalizing higher education in the participating institutions in Malaysia, India, and Vietnam. Upon completion of the course, learners will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to engage professionally in climate change policy and law. Additionally, the establishment of six climate change policy and law centers at six universities in Asia will promote effective research network connections, facilitate links with institutional initiatives, and support the development and implementation of environmental policies and laws.
After 4 years of project implementation (2021-2025), with the transfer of knowledge from European partners, the 6 Asian partner universities successfully developed and launched 6 Master's programs at their institutions. These training programs have been accredited through the quality assurance systems of the Asian partner countries and meet European standards.
At Hue University, the Master's program in Climate Change Policy and Law is implemented by the University of Law, Hue University. The admission method is based on selection, with a full-time, regular training duration of 2 years. The language of instruction is Vietnamese and English. The program admits 20 students per year.
