Red Spring Festival is annually organized by Hue University Youth Union. Over the past five years, the festival has showed the deep humanity and mutual affection of Hue University's students. The festival has become a traditional activity and is warmly responded by Hue University's students with the desire to donate the blood to patients who are struggling to get back to life.

With the message "Spring of love - giving love, giving hope", Red Spring Festival 2018 attracted more than 1,100 students from 11 affiliate universities of Hue University. This year, 675 blood units have been donated, providing for the blood reserve of the local hospitals, curing thousands of patients awaiting blood to keep alive. This is a priceless, meaningful and practical gift of the students of Hue University.

Besides the blood donation activities, the festival also created many interesting experiences for students through the activities such as: public dance, cycling; traditional new year space; calligraphy and folk games; and other cultural and artistic activities, etc.
