Bachelor’s degree programme in Information technology for Cyber Security and Data Science, in partnership with the University of Turku, Finland

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Information technology in Information technology for Cyber Security and Data Science focuses on important areas of future technologies, information security, and information management providing competencies to contribute to the information technology industry.

 

The programme educates future experts of the field that have strong and broad knowledge on Information Technology and Management.

 

 

The programme is a Partnership Degree Programme with the University of Turku, Finland. Hue University is responsible for admissions and the first two years of studies in Vietnam. Last year of studies is carried out in Turku. The Bachelor’s degree is awarded by the University of Turku.

 

PROGRAMME IN BRIEF

Programme Structure

1st year: 60 ECTS in Hue University, Vietnam.

2nd year: 60 ECTS in Hue University, Vietnam.

3rd year: 60 ECTS in University of Turku in Turku, Finland

 

The first-year studies in Vietnam is taught by Hue University teachers. The second-year studies in Vietnam are taught by both Hue University and UTU teachers. The third-year studies in Finland are taught by UTU teachers.

Competence Description

The programme provides students:

  • Fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in Information Technology and Management.
  • Sound and substantial education and expertise.
  • strong technological, theoretical, and practical understanding, and skills and abilities for continuing their studies at postgraduate level in Master’s degree programmes.

 

INFORMATION FOR ADMISSION

Admissions and tuition fees: Programme is designed for High School Graduates who have an interest in math, physics, and/or ICT. The Programme admissions are the responsibility of Hue University.

 

Language Requirements: Language of instruction is English and Vietnamese. All applicants must prove their knowledge of English in one of the ways accepted by the Faculty.
