Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Hue University Council chaired the workshop

Capacity-building project of Hue University was approved in September 2021 by the Francophone University Agency (AUF), the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. After more than 2 years of implementation, the project has made significant contributions to the capacity building of IT applications in training activities, the innovative teaching method for teachers, the new form of learning for students, and the monitoring and management of training activities.

On the morning of March 11, 2022, a seminar on "Sharing online and offline training experiences" was organized online and offline by the Project Management Board. Attending the seminar were Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hien, Project representative, AUF Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Hue University Council, Project Manager; representatives of departments and member universities, and representatives from higher education institutions across the country.

The seminar included 5 presentations as follows “Blend Learning activities; E-mentoring in primary care training at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University”; “Learning materials for mixed ability classes: training: A case study of French courses at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University"; "Using Moodle in training activities at the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University"; "Quality assurance in testing and assessment in accordance with online teaching methods at the University of Science, Hue University". The presentations focused on the difficulties of implementing e-learning and combined training methods, the solutions, and the outstanding features of Moodle LMS that could solve most of the problems of mixed training activities.

At the end of the seminar, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Huynh Van Chuong appreciated the quality of the presentations and thanked the presenters and the participants for asking questions and sharing experiences. Especially, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong expressed his gratitude to AUF for accompanying Hue University in the past time and supporting Hue University to access many effective projects.
