Boosting the joint training program between Hue University and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria

On April 13, 2013, Hue University International Training Center and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems co-hosted the graduation and master’s degree awarding ceremony for 27 students of the joint program 165 between Hue University and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems on Tourism Development. The ceremony received Dr. Georg Heindl, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Vietnam, Prof. Heinz Boyer, Chairman of Austria's Krems University, Dr. Karl Ennsfellner, IMC Krems Vice rector, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong, Deputy Director of the Office of Project 165 and Prof. Nguyen Van Toan, Hue University President.
With the program, students spent 6 months studying English and an IELTS score (over 5.5) required to be obtained. Then, students attended official courses lasting in 16 months (in which 15 months at Hue University and 1 month at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems). With curriculum designed by IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems in forms of books and e-resources, professors from IMC Krems and Hue University were selected to conduct the instruction.
At the ceremony, Prof. Huynh Dinh Chien, Director of Hue University International Training Center appreciated the achievement of the first cohort and hoped for the development of the joint training program in the future.
