JBAV and Keidanren accompanying HU's students for 17 years on a row

On 29/11/2017, the ceremony to award scholarships of the Japanese Business Association in Vietnam (JBAV) and the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) was solemly organized at Hue University. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Hiroshi Karashima, chairman of JBAV in Vietnam; Mr. Ishikawa Taku, Chairman of the JBAV's Committee on Social Contribution and Human Resource Development, General director of Mizuho's Hanoi branch; Mr. Kurokawa Kunihiko, Director of JBAV in Da Nang; Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Vice President of Hue University; Representatives of HU's members universities and award recipients.
JBAV and Keidanren awarding 24 scholarships to students of Hue University
This is the 17th year JBAV and Keidanren awarded their scholarships to Hue University students. This time, 24 scholarships valued at US$ 200 each were awarded to poor but studious students in order to support their study. Scholarships from JBAV and Keidanren have contributed to the close ties between Vietnam and Japan.
Speaking at the scholarship awards ceremony, Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Vice President of Hue University, thanked JBAV and Keidanren for their great financial and emotional support for HU students for the past 17 consecutive years. The vice president of Hue University affirmed that scholarships of JBAV and Keidanren has been a great support, which encouraged students to overcome difficulties, be determined in their study and research in order to achieve their best results; Through these scholarships, HU students have had more opportunities to meet Japanese enterprises, promote the exchange and link between the people and cultures of Vietnam and Japan.
