At the reception, Dr. Truong Quy Tung appreciated the good relationships between Vietnam and New Zealand, Hue University and New Zealand universities, and had a brief introduction on the development process of Hue University.

The purpose of this visit was to understand the potential and strengths of socio-economic development in Thua Thien Hue province. Mr. Haike Manning was particularly interested in the fields of education, health, medicine, tourism, etc. and promised that he would be a bridge to connect New Zealand universities and Hue University.  

After the reception, Mr. Haike Manning spoke to students and staff at Hue University about New Zealand and scholarships of New Zealand.
