2. University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (formerly University of Agriculture 2) with more than 50 years of establishment and development is trustworthy to employers and enterprises nationwide in agriculture-forestry-fisheries and natural resources-environment-engineering and is the only university in Central Vietnam and Highlands which provides specialized training.

3. University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University is the first in the agriculture-forestry-fishery field and also the first among the eight affiliate universities of Hue University was granted education quality standard certificate for national level university in March 2017.

4. 100% undergraduate and graduate programs of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University have been checked and modified to meet output standards, society's needs and connected with other universities' programs and to increase international integration. First year students have been sent to workplaces to job shadow, second to last year students to intern. There are 6 professions oriented training programs supported and consulted by Dutch partners including Crop Science, Plant Protection; Vegetable, Flower, Fruit and Landscape Techlology; Forest resources protection; Urban forestry, Aquaculture.

5. 100% undergraduate and graduate programs are credit-based courses enabling learners' activeness and flexibility in their study plan. Students are given options to shorten their study period lengths, to join two training programs at the same time (to graduate with two undergraduate degrees) or take second undergraduate degree (after graduating the first one); and are eligible to pursue higher education such as bachelors', master's and doctoral degrees.

6. The university has worked closely with more than 100 companies in investigating and satisfying social needs, in recruitment and employment promotion. Every year, the university organizes job fairs and recruitment desks throughout the year with over 50 enterprises and nearly 1,500 job vacancies announced for the university's students right after graduation. The university students recruited proved to have the ability to integrate into workplaces, have good professional skills to find jobs in Vietnam and abroad, to start their own business and to have successful businesses.

7. Students of various majors have many opportunities to participate in start-up projects, scientific research and professional contests and foreign language competitions. The university has over 20 clubs of different fields for students to participate in, train themselves and practise soft skills.

8. With the university's more than 5 billion VND/year for scholarships, students have many opportunities to access merit- and need-based scholarships, domestic and overseas grants, short-term study abroad scholarships. Tuition fees in accordance with State regulations are publicly announced, student policies are fully implemented and guaranteed.

9. Faculty with academic titles, degrees and professional qualifications, graduated from many developed countries in the world (95% of lecturers having graduate qualifications). Facilities, equipment and learning materials are added regularly. Internet and software based education management systems facilitate management of students and study of learners.

10. The total area of the university with nearly 80 hectares of land including a main training facility at 102 Phung Hung, Hue City and 4 off-campus teaching and practice facilities located in Thua Thien Hue province exceeds the minimum requirement of the State and is convenient for travel.
