I. Selection requirements

1. Selection basing on the result of the 2020 national high school examination 

- Scores of selected subjects are scores achieved from the 2020 national high school examination. Selection requirement is that the total score of 3 subjects (without multiplying coefficient, including priority score) is at least equal to the requirements for receiving application forms.

- Selection requirement for teacher training programs of University of Education: Good Conduct result for Grade 12 (as mentioned in student’s academic transcripts).

- Selection requirement for International Studies program of University of Foreign Languages: English qualification is ≥ 5,0.

- Selection requirement for talented programs: scores of talented subjects are ≥ 5.0.

2. Selection basing on academic performance at high school level (school records)

- Member universities and schools under Hue University and Hue University branch in Quang Tri province assess students’ academic records in subjects belonging to the selection combination. Score in the combination is each subject’s average score at 02 semesters of Grade 11 and the first semester of Grade 12. Selection requirement: Total score of subjects in the combination is ≥ 18,0 (without multiplying coefficient and adding priority score).

- Selection requirement for the International Studies program at the University of Foreign Languages: English qualification is ≥ 6.5.

- Selection requirement for teacher training programs of the University of Education: Good Conduct result for Grade 12 (basing on students’ high school records).

- Selection requirement for teacher training programs: High school graduation students must have Very Good academic performance at Grade 12 or high school graduation score is ≥ 8.0.

- Selection requirement for talented programs: Score for talented subject is ≥ 5.0.

- Selection requirement for Music Teaching program: High school graduation students must have good academic performance at Grade 12 or score for high school graduation assessment is ≥ 6.5. And exam score for talented subjects is ≥ 5.0. In case students’ score of talented subject is ranked excellent (9.0 or above according to 10-grading scale), selection requirement is: Total score of 3 subjects in the combination is equal to the score stipulated at the time of receiving application forms of selection. 

II. Apply for admission and examination result announcement

1. Application form for selection

a) Selection basing on the result of the 2020 national high school examination

Admission application includes:

- Admission form regulated by Hue University (please visit the link: http://tuyensinh.hueuni.edu.vn);

- Original certificate of the 2020 national high school graduation examination result;

- Original certificate of the talented examination result (for students in talented programs); 

- Admission fee: Admission fee exemption for students 

b) Selection basing on academic performance at high school level (school records)

Admission application includes:

- Admission form regulated by Hue University (please visit the link: http://tuyensinh.hueuni.edu.vn);

- Copy of high school transcript;

- Original certificate of the talented examination result (for students in talented programs);

- Admission fee: Admission fee exemption for students.

2. Time, method, and place for admission 

a) Time: From October 15, 2020 to 17h00 October 22, 2020. 

b) Admission method: Students can choose one of the following options:

- Register online admission at http://dkxt.hueuni.edu.vn (For students who register for online admission, the originals of the related documents will be checked later [if student is successful])

- Submit admission application directly at the Department of Academic and Student Affairs, Hue University, 01 Dien Bien Phu, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province.

- Submit admission application by post (EMS) to the Department of Academic and Student Affairs, Hue University, 01 Dien Bien Phu, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province.

3. Examination result announcement: Expected before 17h00 on October 26, 2020.
