College of Economics - Hue University entered a cooperation agreement with Institute of Technology Tallaght – Ireland (08-04-2016 03:49)

From 26-30/3/2016, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Tran Van Hoa, Rector of College of Economics - Hue University (HCE) paid a visit to Institute of Technology Tallaght (ITT) – Ireland with the aim to strengthen cooperation and sign an MOU for a joint undergraduate training program of Business Administration.

ITT is one of leading higher education institutes in Ireland. It is accredited as a member of the European Credit Transfer Scheme for Higher Education. ITT’s qualifications are recognized world-wide and therefore provide opportunities for educational and career mobility on a global basis.

ITT’s multicultural campus celebrates diversity. English is recognised as one official language of Ireland and in training. Currently, ITT has over 70 different nationalities represented on campus. This is a very important aspect to education as students will, upon graduation, most likely work in a multicultural environment where cultural mix is used as a strategic business advantage. By participating in this joint training program, students will have a chance to receive advanced european education, enrich their knowledge and improve professional skills, communication skills and English language command, etc. These advantages create differences to training quality and students’ career development.

In this occasion, the two sides agreed to speed up cooperation in training, research, and staff and student exchange. Leaders of the two sides expressed their high commitment in implementation of the joint undergraduate training program of Business Administration. According to plan, this joint program will be launched at the beginning of the school year 2016-2017.
