Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Hoa, Rector of CoE, concurrently Director of APiE affirmed the encouraging achievements of APiE at CoE. Specifically, from 2010 to 2015, APiE admitted more than 300 students into 6 cohorts, organized 25 short-term training courses for CoE lecturers in cooperation with the University of Sydney, invited more than 50 troops of foreign lecturers to teach in the program; sent many groups of students to regional and worldwide universities’ academic and scientific exchange activities, etc. Especially, in the previous academic year, the program was selected by the University Shujitsu, Japan as its academic exchange partner. However, it is necessary to continue improvement of the program, curriculum, faculty, facilities, information technology, etc. and to boost students’ activeness and endeavors in learning.

Speaking from the floor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huu – Manager of the Advanced Program, Higher Education Department, MOET appreciated the efforts of the leaders of Hue University in the construction and development of the APiE so as to obtain such achievements.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan - President of Hue University emphasizes that the APiE at CoE need to increase the attractiveness of the program to attract international students, faculty; to innovate curriculum; to promote student exchange internationally; to increase the professionalism of managers and to further invest in infrastructure. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan also reminded the students of the APiE to study and do research to accomplish the program’s requirements and to join high quality human resources for the country's development in the context of international integration.

To recognize the efforts of the individuals who contribute to the development of the APiE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Hoa, Rector of CoE decided to present certificates of meritorious service to eight individuals who have made outstanding contributions for the development of the APiE in the last 5 years. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Hoa presented rewards to students for their high academic achievements in the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year.
