The delegation was received by Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Phuoc, Rector of College of Foreign Languages and leaders of English Department, International Studies Department, and Science, Technology and International Cooperation Department.

At the meeting, both sides agreed to carry out the signed articles such as staff exchange (tentatively in November 2013), student exchange, workshops, conferences…

Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Phuoc wished to receive more support for capacity building on Thai language and culture. In the afternoon, Ubon Ratchathani University organized an educational fair regarding Thai culture, education and scholarship at the College.

The visit of Ubon Rachthani University was an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the two universities.
