At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Toan hoped that Ms. AnkeStaht, as a DAAD Director in Hanoi would help to promote the relationship between Hue University and universities in Germany in academic exchange, workshops and conferences, joint research programs, and joint training programs. Both sides, particularly, mentioned to the need of German in Hue and planned to develop a Department of German at Hue University College of Foreign Languages.  

Ms. Anke Stahl affirmed that DAAD not only focuses on offering scholarship to individuals but the relationship between universities. Hue University is obviously one of the potential partners of German universities. 

After the meeting, Ms. Anke Stahlmade had an introduction on annual scholarship offered by DAAD to Hue University faculty, staff and students.
