This project is to support Vietnam universities in capacity building in the fields of research and innovation in science and technology. Vietnam universities participating in the program include VNU Ho Chi Minh - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Thai Nguyen University, College of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University, An Giang University and Can Tho University. To participate in this program, Vietnam universities cooperate with three European universities, namely Universidad de Alicante in Spain (UA), Glasgow Caledonian University in the United Kingdom (GCU) and the University of Technology in Bratislava Slovakia (STUBA) to elaborate the project content in the past year.

The project ENHANCE is implemented in 36 months from October 2015 with 7 specific activity groups. The main content of the project is to determine the current status of research and technology transfer of Vietnam universities, to propose solutions to improve research and innovation capacities, to organize implementation and to replicate successful models. The three European universities cooperate in implementation.

During the working visit to Europe, the delegation was welcomed by the rectors of UA, GCU and STUBA and exchange lessons learned in management and development with these European universities in the fields of research, innovation, intellectual property and technology transfer.

Thanks to the project ENHANCE, College of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University has the opportunity to improve capacity of research, science and technology transfer. Together with ongoing projects such as Profession Oriented Higher Education POHE, Agricultural Curricula of Climate Change at Universities of Agriculture ACCCU on building training capacity, College of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University will have the opportunity to develop comprehensively the capacity of training, scientific research and technology transfer to become one top university in Vietnam.
