Warmest Greetings from Hue University!

In 2017, Hue University reaches an important milestone – 60 years anniversary of its founding. Hue University has come a long way since its establishment in March 1957. Operating for 60 years, Hue University has now become one of the top three strongest education and research hubs in Viet Nam with eight colleges (College of Education, College of Medicine and Pharmacy, College of Sciences, College of Arts, College of Agriculture and Forestry, College of Economics, College of Foreign Languages, College of Law), two schools (School of Tourism and Hospitality, School of Physical Education), one branch campus in QuangTri Province, nine research institutes and supporting centers, one publishing house and one journal of science. Hue University has succeeded in providing high quality human resources at undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research and facilitating technology transfer for the development of Vietnam central region. We are proud of having a legacy of educational leadership and millions of alumni base worldwide.

I feel so much fortunate to be serving as president of Hue University at this particularly significant time in the institution’s history. All success in the past 60 years is thanks to the dedication and hard work of generations of HU staff and the close and continued collaboration of various local and international friends. On this special occasion, I hope to make this a time for gathering, reflection and recognition of your valuable contribution. We also hope you keep faith with us so that together we can build a bright future for higher education.

In order to mark this important milestone, HU will launch a series of programs and activities throughout the year, especially a celebration ceremony honouring the 60th year anniversary of Hue University’s founding on  2 -3 March, 2017.
