ASEA-UNINET’s 15th Plenary Meeting in Bali, Indonesia (14-03-2016 08:05)

 

From 15 to 18 February 2016,Hue University delegate attended the 15th Plenary Meeting of the university network of European and Asean countries called ASEA-UNINET (http://asea-uninet.org)taking place at Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia. The conference was to review and evaluate the network’s achievements inthe past 2 years andto orient its development in the coming years and in the future. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh, network coordinator at Hue University reported the activities and contributions of Hue University. Hue University signed the Umbrella Agreement to faciliate further cooperation with other universities within ASEA-UNINET.

 

 

It was a very fruitful and productive meeting for the ASEA-UNINET. The meeting took place with the following contents:

- Plenary session with reports from national coordinators

- Scientific conference

- Working groups discussing strategic orientation

- New elections of: national coordination, regional coordinator (for Southeast Asia), and Chairman

- Acceptanceto new network members: University of Porto (Portugal), Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland), University of Applied Arts Vienna (Austria), Bogor Agricultural University (Indonesia), Sharif University of Technology (Iran)
