Dr. Truong Van Chuong and Dr. Le Quang Tien Dung won Third Prize - Vietnam Scientific and Technological Innovation Awards 2015 (10-06-2016 16:36)

In the evening of May 16th 2016, in Hanoi, the awarding ceremony of the Vietnam Scientific and Technological Innovation Awards, WIPO Award 2015 took place with the attendance of Honorary President of VIFOTEC Nguyen Thien Nhan; Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh; Chairman of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), President of VIFOTEC Dang Vu Minh. Hue University College of Sciences was honored with Dr. Truong Van Chuong and Le Quang Tien Dung's Third Prize with the topic "Research on manufacturing Nanofiber Membrane production equipment via electrospinning method".

 

 

 

There were 30 scientific works awarded including 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes , 9 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes in 6 priority technology areas: information technology, electronics and telecommunications; automation engineering; materials technology; biology for production and life; technology for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources; technology to save energy and use renewable energy. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) awarded the  WIPO Award 2015 for the  2 best projects: "Research into renovating, designing and manufacturing, and synchronizing the line of automatic pouring and canning at a capacity of 50,000 cans/hour" by Tran Van Tra - Huong Sen Group JSC; "Research into technical and technological processes for rearing salanganes and constructing nest buildings suitable to each region, locality serving sustainable development of bird nest farming in Vietnam" by Le Huu Hoang and colleagues - Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State Company Limited.

 

Hue University College of Sciences was honored with Dr. Truong Van Chuong and Le Quang Tien Dung's Third Prize with the topic "Research on manufacturing Nanofiber Membrane production equipment via electrospinning method".

 

At the awarding ceremony, Minister Chu Ngoc Anh expressed his confidence that the Vietnam Scientific and Technological Innovation Awards are responded, supported and engaged by the scientists nationwide with scientific researches and technological products that are practical, effective, and be a prerequisite for the rapid and sustainable development of Vietnam.
