Based on the approval of the People's Committee and the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Thua Thien Hue Province, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University established the 3rd volunteer group consisting of 105 staff and students to support COVID-19 prevention in Dong Nai province for one month, starting from August 17, 2021.

Before participating in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, staff and students were tested for negative RT-PCR results and vaccinated against COVID-19. In order to ensure safety as well as fully equip students with knowledge and skills, the University organized an intensive training course for volunteer students. After passing the final exam of the training course, students received a training completion certificate.

To support the delegation, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University coordinated with Bamboo Airways to arrange the flight for the volunteer group. The flight is expected to depart from Phu Bai airport to Ho Chi Minh City at 11h10 on August 17, 2021. Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee and Dong Nai Department of Health will organize a car to pick up the delegation at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.
