The volunteer team is divided into 2 groups, in which the first volunteer group led by Dr. Vo Van Khoa, Secretary of the Youth Union of the University, consisting of 03 staff and 72 students, will participate in supporting the epidemic prevention and control from July 14, 2021 to August 14, 2021 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The volunteer group will join the delegation of Thua Thien Hue province to support Ho Chi Minh City, including staff of the Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and staff - students of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in which student volunteer group is assigned to Binh Tan District to support testing and contact tracing, according to the direction of the Department of Health and the People's Committee of Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

In the second and third outbreaks, University of Medicine and Pharmacy also set up a volunteer team to support COVID-19 prevention in Da Nang and Quang Nam according to the direction of the Ministry of Health.
