University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, and University Hospital have started supporting Department of Health and Center for Disease Control of Thua Thien Hue province to conduct testing for CoVID-19 using RT-PCR since the 13th of May, 2021.

Previously, on May 7th, 2021, Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang promulgated the Decision on recognizing the Microbiology Laboratory of the Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University to be authorized for confirming positive cases of SARS-CoV-2.
From May 13, 2021, there are 3 shifts of PCR testing (morning, afternoon, and evening) each day.
As of the beginning of March, the hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University has conducted nearly 10,000 tests for undergraduate and graduate students.
