Currently, the University of Education offers 29 undergraduate programs, 30 master's programs and 12 doctoral programs. The average number of students is 6,000 full-time students, 10,000 part-time students, 1,800 master students and 70 doctoral students.

Thanks to the remarkable achievements in the past 65 years, the University of Education, Hue University has been rewarded with many State awards such as Third class Labor Medal (1983, 2017), Second class Labor Medal (1991), First class Labor Medal (1996), Third Class Independence Medal (2002), Second Class Independence Medal (2012).

On this occasion, the University of Education received the Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in the academic year 2020 – 2021 and the Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in training provincial teachers and educational administrators.
