Previously, on May 28, 2022, within the framework of the business trip to Laos of Hue University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, the President of Hue University and the Rector of the University of Agriculture and Forestry had a meeting with the Faculty of Agriculture, Savannakhet University. Both sides discussed a cooperation agreement between Hue University and Savannakhet University on providing the Master of Animal Husbandry in English in Laos.

Hue University will develop a training program for the two universities and is responsible for the program arrangement and management with the direct participation of Savannakhet University. After students take courses at Savannakhet University, they have internships at Hue University to practice and complete their thesis.

The enrollment will tentatively start in September 2022. Hue University will provide scholarships for students according to the criteria in terms of professional and language requirements.
