The meeting aimed to propose Hue University to cooperate in implementing the task of developing a project to summarize Resolution 39-NQ/TU dated August 16, 2004, by the Politburo Bureau, Tenure IX on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the North Central Coast and the Central Coast region until 2010.

Hue University will participate in two major topics which are Orientation and solution to capacity building, especially high-quality human resources for socio-economic development, ensuring regional defense and security in the North Central Coast and the Central Coast region to 2030 with a vision to 2045 and the role of Hue University; Orientation and solution to preserve and promote cultural heritage values ​​in the North Central Coast and the Central Coast region by 2030 with a vision to 2054, and conference papers. The report will focus on the development issues; effective management model for socio-economic development in regions with great potential for tourism and heritage; natural resources affected by natural disasters, storms, wars, and climate change.

Based on the proposals, Hue University will establish research groups and complete reports that contribute to affirming its position in the development of the region and the country according to Resolution 54, developing Hue University into a National University.
