An impressive jump in Webometrics

In the second announcement in Webometrics World University rankings by Cyber metrics Labs in July 2020, Hue University increased in 918 places, rising to 2740 from 3658 in the world ranking, regaining the 7th place among 176 higher institutions in Vietnam.

QS Asia University Ranking: rising to the higher group and aiming to the Top 300

In November, the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has announced the QS Asia University rankings 2021, in which Hue University reaches the group 401st - 450th of Asia and holds the 6th position among 11 Vietnamese higher education institutions. Hue University has gradually developed in accordance with the strategy and goal of Hue University into a National University in 2020, and 300th position in Asia ranking in 2025.

The second year, the top 10 Vietnamese universities enter the URAP

According to the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) announced in early December 2020, Hue University ranked 2288th in the world and 9th in Vietnam (out of 12 higher education institutions). In 2019, the first time Hue University was named in 8 Vietnamese higher education institutions in URAP and ranked 2387th in the world.

 The first time in the SCImago Institutions rankings

This is the first time that Hue University has been listed in SCImago 2020. In terms of overall ranking, Hue University is ranked 15th out of 18 higher education institutions in Vietnam. In terms of each indicator, Hue University ranks 12th in research performance, 16th in innovation output, and 7th in societal impact among 18 Vietnamese higher education institutions.
