Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung, Hue University Vice President, Acting Editor-in-Chief of Hue University Journal of Science, Head of Conference Organizing Committee, delivered a welcome speech to participants and 5 reporters including scientists, journal managers, and delegates from Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The workshop conference aimed to provide opportunities for the participants to discuss and share their experiences, as well as to connect scientists, journal administrators, and leaders of higher education institutions and research institutes towards the common goal of international cooperation, development, and integration. At the end of the conference, Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung, Hue University Vice President expressed her gratitude to the participants for their contribution to the success of the conference and called for the network development of Vietnamese academic journals to support each other in the process of "reaching out to the great sea" and the internationalization of scientific journals.
