At the meeting, both sides exchanged information regarding projects conducted by College of Agriculture and Forestry during the past time which was aimed at surveying sustainability and spreading the results of joint technical projects at basic level after closing.

College of Agriculture and Forestry  received assistance from JICA through several projects, typically including, "Integrated approach to vulnerable people" to cope with natural disasters in Central Vietnam, which was opened in October, 2010. 

In collaboration with Kyoto University, Japan, another project was "Enhancing community's capacity to cope with natural disasters in Central Vietnam" carried out from October 2006 to September, 2009.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation made a field trip to Huong Long Commune, Huong Tra District, Thua Thien Hue Province to learn more about project activities conducted by College of Agriculture and Forestry and the people living here.
