On March 30, 2015, Hue University Vice President Le Van Anh conferred the title “Hue University’s Honorary Professor” on Prof. Jean-Jacques Durand, University of Rennes I (UR1), France. Ceremony participants included leaders of Hue University’s Colleges, functional departments, and those staffers and students who have received the academic supervision of Prof. Jean-Jacques Durand.

Prof. Jean-Jacques Durand is currently a member of the Scientific Committee, Department of Economics at UR1. He was former Vice President of UR1, in charge of International Relations. He was also former Vice Chairman of Management Board of UR1, and former Chairman of the Committee of Experts in Economic Sciences, and member of the National University Board, France.

Prof. Jean-Jacques Durand has remarkably contributed to Hue University College of Economics. He participated in the establishment of the joint training program in Finance–Banking. Thanks to the success of the bachelor’s program, he continued to develop the Master’s training program in Finance–Banking.

At the ceremony, Prof. Le Van Anh expressed his gratitude for the contribution of Prof. Durand. Hue University appreciated the role of Professor Jean-Jacques Durand in its collaboration with UR1 through the development and implementation of successful joint training programs.
