On March 30, 2015, Hue University Vice President Le Van Anh and Chonbuk National University President Lee Nam Ho re-signed their MoU to further collaborative programs.

The agreement accelerates the collaboration between Hue University and Chonbuk National University in areas of comparable strength and interest. The two institutions will continue expanding student and staff exchanges and boosting cooperation on scientific research. In the time to come, Chonbuk National University will offer two PhD scholarships in animal genetics and infectious diseases. Moreover, the University requests Hue University to nominate staff for a six-week workshop on information technology in Korea.

Hue University and Chonbuk National University signed the original MoU in 2008. Since then, the College of Medicine and Pharmacy, College of Education, College of Foreign Languages and Institute of Biotechnology of Hue University have had effective cooperation activities with Chonbuk National University.
