On October 9, 2014, Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Hue University Vice President, received a delegation from the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city led by Mr. Noah Hogan, Vice Consul.

At the meeting, both sides discussed achievements arising from the cooperation between Hue University and US partners. Some noticeable cooperation programs are the Advanced Physics program with the University of Virginia, the educational exchange programs with the University of Hawaii, Ford Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation. Recently, a lot of Hue University students and staff have been funded to study in the US.

On this occasion, the US Consulate delegation informed Hue University staff and students of the U.S education system, scholarship programs, admission requirements and visa procedures.
