On October 31, Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Hue University Vice President, received a delegation from the California State University, Fullerton, USA led by Dr. Kari Knutson Miller, Interim Associate Vice President for International Programs and Dr. Sheryl I. Fontaine, Dean of College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

California State University, Fullerton has approximately 38,000 students and offers 107 degree programs at eight colleges. The University has more than 3,000 international students from 81 nations, and is interested in developing partnerships with universities in Vietnam, including Hue University.  

At the meeting, both sides discussed potential academic cooperation through staff and student exchanges. In time to come, the two universities would sign an MOU for further cooperation.
