The Career Counseling and Job Information day 2017 by HU - University of Sciences aimed to meet the needs of internships, study abroad, career orientation and especially job placement, as well as to meet the lobor demand of the recruiters under the motto of "Training to meet the social needs and tighten the relationship between the university, recruiters and students". This was also an opportunity for the university to collect feedback from the employers to be well informed of recruitment needs and trends.

On the same day, the university organized a workshop "Job Opportunities for Students majoyed in Social Sciences" with the participation of two keynote speakers Mr. Nguyen Hoa, Deputy Director of Thua Thien Hue Center for Employment Service and Mr. Le Minh Tu, Head of Representative Office of Tuoi tre (Youth) Newspaper in Hue. At the seminar, the students had an apportunity to meet, explore in depth the needs of curent employers and learn about experiences of  the university alumni who were also majored in social sciences so as to have a better view of future career path. It was also an opportunity for them to get in touch with businesses and the labor market so that they can find a suitable job after graduation. At the same time, another workshop "Start-up Opportunities and Challenges" also held at the university  attracted the participation of many students. There, the students learned enterprises' owners' startup road, thereby, to help them creative and confident to overcome challenges and to identify themselves on the way to start a business.
