Hue University's 12th Western Chess and Chinese Chess Championship

The tournament is a physical activity organized by the Students Association of Hue University. The purpose of the tournament are to create a healthy, practical and helpful playground for students, and to discover and foster student talents; Strengthen solidarity and exchanges between students of affiliated universities and faculties. 123 students from 8 affiliated units participated in the 12th Western Chess and Chinese Chess Championship 2017.
There were 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 8 bronze medals won in individual category; 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 3 third prizes in team category. There given 3 group prizes: the University of Medicine and Pharmacy won the first prize, the University of Education won the second and the University of Law won the third prize.
