At the meeting, Dr. Truong Quy Tung - Vice President of Hue University introduced the representatives from HU Publishing House, Learning Resource Center, Journal of Sciences, and Bulletin and presented an overview of Hue University. Dr. Truong Quy Tung espressed HU's desire to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges. The Vice President hoped that the US Library of Congress could support the publishing units of Hue University through training to improve the quality of HU's international scientific papers. Also in the meeting, representatives of the publishing units of Hue University suggested to cooperate in academic materials exchange, library and publishing capacity building, training on writing scientific articles in English, etc.

Ms. Libreny Riyusdha - Representative of the Library of Congress thanked for the warm welcome of the leaders of Hue University. She noted the cooperation proposals of Hue University and expressed their willingness to cooperate in the near future. With growing cooperation between the United States and Vietnam, Ms. Libreny Riyusdha is optimistic about near future collaboration in training and promised to be a bridge to connect US publishers and Hue University.
