Japan Business Association in Vietnam and Japan Business Federation awarded scholarships to Hue University students

Japan Business Association in Vietnam and the Japan Business Federation in collaboration with Hue University awarded 48 scholarships, worth USD 200 each, to outstanding Hue University students. This is the 13th year JBAV and JBF gave scholarships Hue University students. Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Vice President of Hue University; Mr. Motonobu Sato, Chairman of Japan Business Association in Vietnam (JBAV), Genernal Manager of Showa Denko Rare-Earth Vietnam; Mr. Toyoaki Funakoshi, Chief Economic Conference Japan Vietnam (JBAV), CEO of Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam attended the ceremony and awarded scholarships to students. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan, the number of scholarships is doubled compared to the previous years. Among 48 students this year, there are 8 students being presented this scholarship more than one times. This is a meaningful activity to strengthen co-operation and friendship between these associations and the Hue University and between Japan and Vietnam as well.
