The European Union “Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region” (SHARE) programme has entered an interim phase. The first contract for the management consortium (the British Council, DAAD, ENQA, and Nuffic) ended on 30 June 2020.

The European Union is in the process of agreeing with ASEAN Euro 5 million increase of funding for a two-year extension of the programme. The EU plans to engage the same consortium to implement the two-year extension phase for SHARE later this year.
