School of Engineering and Technology - Hue University was established on October 24, 2019, with the missions of training, research, transfer of science and technology, community serving, provision of high quality human resources in engineering and technology. Programs of the School include Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (Bachelor’s and Engineer’s degrees), Control Engineering and Automation, Electrical Engineering, Data Science (Postgraduate training) and potential ones such as Transportation Engineering, Financial Technology and Industrial Management.

In spite of abundant primary difficulties, the first enrolment seems to be successful with 5 Master’s students of Data Science and 70 undergraduate students in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Control Engineering and Automation.

Besides, the School has set up cooperation with national and international higher education institutions and enterprises. Typically, the School signed three MOUs for training cooperation with Missouri State University, USA, University of Hunddersfield, UK and Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, Japan, and many partnership agreements with such prestigious enterprises as Hitachi Systems Vietnam, FPT Software, IIG Vietnam, VietAI, etc.

The School of Engineering and Technology has also determined specific strategies for their next step of development.
