In the academic year 2019-2020, the percentage of graduates with high distinction or distinction increase by 4% compared to the previous year; 02 lecturers were appointed to the title of Associate Professor, 29 lecturers were appointed the professional title of main lecturers; 02 lecturers successfully defended their doctoral thesis which increased the percentage of lecturers with postgraduate qualifications to 97.3%.

Moreover, three undergraduate training programs of Chemistry Teacher Education, Literature and Linguistics Teacher Education, and Geography Teacher Education received Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation from the Centre for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On the occasion of the opening ceremony, the University rewarded 21 new valedictorians, in which Doan Thi Thanh Thuy – a student of Literature and Linguistics Department hold the title of valedictorian with a total of 28 marks.
