Non-contact Walkthrough Infrared Body Temperature Measuring Detector used for COVID-19 testing

On November 6, 2020, Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University used the non-contact walk through infrared body temperature measuring Detector for COVID-19 testing.
To enhance the testing of COVID-19, Hue University Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy deployed a Non-contact walkthrough infrared body temperature measuring detector.
Using the walkthrough infrared body temperature detector, patients and their family members will be comfortable when they go to the hospital because they do not have direct contact with medical staff to take their body temperatures. Also, it reduces the waiting time for patients.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khoa Hung, Vice-Rector of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; Director of Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, this is a new step to ensure the hospital safety for COVID-19 prevention towards the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
