On the morning of September 14, the Proclamation Ceremony for the designation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen van Toan as President of Hue University was solemnly held by Hue University
Distinguished guests of the ceremony include Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long, Deputy Minister of Education and Training (MOET) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Hoc, Head of Department for Personnel- MOET; Mr. Ho Xuan Man, member of Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; leader representatives of Hue city, fellow Universities, junior Colleges, Secondary schools, functional departments and from affiliated colleges and units belonging to Hue University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long, Deputy Minister of Education and Training has handed over the decision designating Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan as the President of Hue University. In his speech at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long Deputy Minister of Education and Training congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan for being trusted by his people and designated by the Minister. He claims that this great proud definitely comes along with challenging responsibilities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan, President of Hue University extends his gratitude to leaders of MOET and all the staff of Hue University for the trust in him. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan has promised fulfillment of tasks and uniting efforts for a sound development of Hue University, and for its being recognized in the region and throughout the world. Also at this event, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vien Tho expresses his feelings to all staff and students, and hopes that Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Toan in his new post will get more support from the staff and students of Hue University in the fulfillment of his important task, which is building up Hue University into a prestigious Training Centre.
