The first online graduation ceremony of University of Education, Hue University in 2021 was held on the morning of June 22, 2021. At the university hall, representatives of the Party Committee, University Council, and University Board of Directors, lecturers attended the ceremony. 653 new graduates, students, and alumni of the University attended the ceremony through the online program.
On the morning of October 2, 2018, the opening ceremony of the first expert training workshop of the TOURIST Project was held at Hue University. This training workshop is one of the TOURIST project activities to building competence centres for the development of sustainable tourism and innovative financial management strategies to increase the positive impact of local tourism in Thailand and Vietnam. This workshop will take place in 4 days from 2 - 5/10/2018 to tranfer knowledge to nearly 40 academic staff from the tourism universities, faculties, institutes in Thailand and Vietnam.
On 18 February 19, 2016, at Hue University, Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan, President of Hue University and Associate Prof. Prachoom Pongpan, President of Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University (UBRU) signed a cooperation memorandum.

The contract signing ceremony was held at Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation on November 27, 2015 with the attendance of the leadership representatives of Hue University, Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation and Ming Chi University of Technology.
Sáng 27/11/2015, tại Công ty TNHH Gang thép Hưng Nghiệp FORMOSA Hà Tĩnh đã diễn ra lễ ký kết hợp đồng hợp tác trao đổi sinh viên giữa Đại học Huế, Công ty TNHH Gang thép Hưng Nghiệp FORMOSA Hà Tĩnh và Trường Đại học Khoa học Kỹ thuật Minh Chí, Đài Loan. Tham dự có TS. Trương Quý Tùng, Phó Giám đốc Đại học Huế; PGS.TS. Nguyễn Mạnh Sơn, Trưởng khoa Vật lý, Trường Đại học Khoa học, Đại học Huế; TS. Phạm Việt Hùng, Phó Trưởng khoa Cơ khí - Công nghệ, Trường Đại học Nông Lâm, Đại học Huế. Về phía Công ty TNHH Gang thép Hưng Nghiệp FORMOSA Hà Tĩnh có Phó tổng Giám đốc Trương Phúc Ninh, Dư Khánh Chương; Giám đốc Lang Thông Minh. Về phía Trường Đại học Khoa học Kỹ thuật Minh Chí, Đài Loan có Hiệu trưởng Lưu Tổ Hoa; Viện trưởng Trương Gia Đức.
In two days, June 10- 11, 2014, the Delegation of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, Thailand led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanin Vaseenonta, Rector worked and signed a MOU with College of Science and College of Agriculture and Forestry, directly under Hue University.
Trong hai ngày, 10 – 11/6/2014, đoàn công tác của Trường ĐH Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat, Thái Lan do PGS.TS. Chanin Vaseenonta, Hiệu trưởng dẫn đầu đã có các buổi làm việc và ký kết biên bản hợp tác với các trường ĐH Khoa học và Trường ĐH Nông Lâm thuộc Đại học Huế.
