This year, the Organizing Committee of the Awards received 68 outstanding scientific works in 07 fields, 69% more than the Seventh Awards in 2014. Of which, there were 19 pharmaceutical works; 13 Biology for production and life; 13 Science and Humanity; 06 Material technology; 06 Mechanical and automation; 5 Information technology, electronics and telecommunications; and 06 Environmental protection technology, Rational use of natural resources, Use of new energy.

College of Sciences, Hue University won 10 prizes, which were 01 first prizes, 03 second prizes, 03 third prizes and 03 encouragement prizes.
