Hue University welcomed and signed an MOU with Korean Traditional Skill Successor Incorporated Association (13-03-2017 01:57)

On March 9, 2017, Hue University had a working meeting with the Korean Traditional Skill Successor Incorporated Association (KTSSIA). Attending the meeting were Mr. Lee Ga Rak, Chairman of KTSSIA, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, HU President; Dr. Truong Quy Tung, HU Vice President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh, Director of HU Department of International Cooperation.

 

 

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh introduced HU’s training programs relating to agricultural products, tourism and traditional products. The President had a high opinion of the deepening and broadening friendly relationship between Vietnam and Korea as the two countries have many similarities in culture, history and people. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh hoped that KTSSIA will provide scholarships for HU students with excellent academic achievements so that the cultural exchange between the two countries will be facilitated by the students. The HU President is committed to assisting the Association in the establishment of a Center for Promotion of Korean Culture, Fashion and Traditional Products in Hue.

 

 

Lee Ga Rak, Chairman of the Korean Traditional skill successor incorporated association, thanked HU President for his warm welcome and emphasized that Hue is a long-history cultural and historical center. The chairman wishes to promote Korean culture here and to assist Hue artisans in developing traditional village craft products. He hoped that the cooperation with Hue University will help popularize the traditional products and promote the culture of the two countries.

 

 

The leaders of Hue University and Korean Traditional Skill Successor Incorporated Association signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cultural and educational cooperation through granting scholarships for elite Hue University students who are interested in studying in Korea.
