Activities to celebrate 35-year-cooperation between Japan and Viet Nam

On the occasion of 35-year diplomatic relation between Japan and Viet Nam, Thua Thien Hue Foreign Affair Department in cooperation with Hue University College of Foreign Languages (HUCF) on May 20, 2008 held the IKEBANA contest (Japanese flower arranging contest) at the Main Hall of HUCF at 57 Nguyen Khoa Chiem Street.

Participants of the contest were the Leaders of different Sections and Departments of Thua Thien Hue Province, Japanese Artists in Hue, lecturers and students of Japanese Department of HUCFL and Japanese language students from many Japanese Language Centers in Hue City. A friendly and artistic atmosphere was created at the contest. Also, the contest was one of the activities aiming to tighten the friendship between the two nations. Reported by HUCF/ Translated by
