At the workshop, many ideas, speeches were presented related to issues such as the present university training under the view of enterprise, needs of human resources training for enterprise development, cooperation relation between enterprise association of Thue Thien Hue and the College of Economic, the relationship between the College and Enterprise, ect. This was a platform for managers, entrepreneurs, scientists and student to share information, improve knowledge, contribute ideas of training and scientific research of the College, propose fields as well as mechanism of cooperation, support effectively between the College and enterprises in the area in order to ensure products of training and scientific research of the College in accordance with the needs of enterprises.

At the workshop, enterprises signed the cooperation agreement with the College of Economics in scientific training and research in order to meet social needs.

In the frame of pre-activities of the workshop, in the evening of June 20, 2008, the College of Economics organized an exchange meeting between students and entrepreneurs with the topic of “Enterprises go together with students”. The guests of the exchange meeting with students were entrepreneurs from Thua Thien Hue province, the Central area and Central Highlands. The exchange meeting attracted the participation of more than 300 students from the College of Economics participated in. It was an opportunity for the students to approach and update information, exchange, share experiences of solving practical cases of enterprises as well as successful experiences of entrepreneurs, etc.
