Title recognition ceremony of visiting professor of medicine for Dr. Richard Schneider, Luxemburg

On May 12, 2008 - Hue University and Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy solemnly held the Title Recognition Ceremony of Visiting Professor of Medicine for Dr. Richard Schneider from Luxemburg. Dr. Richard Schneider is one of the experienced specialists in Cardiovascular (Heart). At present, he is the Chairman of Luxemburg Red Cross Association, of Luxemburg Cardiovascular Association, and of Association of Health Support. He is also Professor Emeritus of Vieng chan University of Medicine.
During the last time, he has contributed to the training of young staff so as to enhance the teaching ability
as well as the research skills at Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy. Besides, he has also assisted in examining and curing for patients in Thua Thien Hue
Province. Dr. Schneider’s contributions have brought fruitful effects on the local health sections in which Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy is one of
the cases.
With Dr. Schneider’s assistance, many young staffs of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy have been sent to Europe for intensive training. Especially, many modern machines have been equipped for Hospital of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy to serve for the teaching, doing researches and examining for local residents in Hue City.
